⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment we walked into Saltgrass Steak House in Tyler, we were treated like family. The entire experience was exceptional from start to finish! The food was absolutely phenomenal. I ordered the T-bone steak, and it was hands down one of the best steaks I've had—perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. The shrimp with the lemon butter was equally amazing, and that lemon butter is something I'll be thinking about for a long time! Our server, Bel, was outstanding. He was attentive, genuinely kind, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. His level of hospitality truly elevated an already incredible dining experience. We were also honored to be guests of Edgar Robles, the manager, and we can't thank him enough for his generosity and hospitality. It's clear that great leadership is reflected throughout the entire restaurant. The atmosphere, the service, and the quality of the food all exceeded our expectations. We recently hosted my dad’s 80th birthday dinner at Saltgrass Steak House and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. A special thank you to Brooklyn, who called earlier that day to go over all the details and made sure everything was prepared ahead of time. That level of communication gave us so much peace of mind. Our servers, Gamble, Catarina, and Bekah, did an amazing job taking care of a party of 35 guests. Managing that many orders can be challenging, but everything was handled so smoothly and seamlessly. I also want to recognize Michael Button, the manager, who was extremely attentive throughout the event and continuously checked in to make sure everything was going well. Celebrating such an important milestone for our family was made even more special because of the excellent service we received. Thank you to the entire team at in Tyler for helping make this celebration memorable. Highly recommend!

‼️ Served Raw Chicken ‼️ We made the drive from Nacogdoches, TX, to Saltgrass to celebrate Father's Day a day early, but unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing and ended up costing us even more money when we had to eat elsewhere afterward. The first issue we encountered was that my husband’s order was incorrect. He was served a Chicken Fried Steak instead of the Chicken Fried Chicken he ordered. Since several people at our table had ordered Chicken Fried Chicken, we initially brushed it off as an honest mistake and notified our server. A few minutes later, my husband’s Chicken Fried Chicken arrived. Not only was it the smallest portion we have ever received from any steakhouse (see photo), but what happened next was even worse. My husband had been looking forward to this meal the entire drive to Tyler. His disappointment quickly turned to disgust when he took a bite, immediately spit it out, and discovered the chicken was raw. At that point, he was completely done with the experience and chose not to order anything else. As the person we were there to celebrate, it was difficult for the rest of our party to continue enjoying our meals while he sat there without food.

My husband and I stopped by the Tyler restaurant on 6/6 at about 4pm. When we arrived, we noticed it wasn’t busy, noting there were only 4 or 5 cars out front. There was tons of parking available. We figured we should get seated right away. When we got inside, we were the only ones there and were told it would be a 25 minute wait. When I asked why, the guy said he didn’t know. He said his manager just told him to have people wait. Even though we thought that was weird, we sat down to wait. Shortly after, another couple arrived and were told the same thing. Then about 10 minutes later, a party of 6 came and also had to wait. Everyone waiting was really confused. So at around the 20 minute mark of our wait, a couple came in, told him ‘party of two’ and were seated immediately. At that point, I was getting pretty frustrated but didn’t say anything. Then right after, the couple that came in right afterward us got seated. We just got up and left after wasting almost 30 minutes of our time. We went to another restaurant, got seated immediately and had our food (steaks) in the time it took for us to wait there for no reason. All we wanted was to add to our Landry’s points so that I c

It had been a solid four or five years since I’d been to Saltgrass Steak House. To be honest, my last visit back then wasn’t exactly memorable in a good way. One of those meals where you leave thinking, “Well……that happened.” So it quietly fell off my rotation. Fast forward to last night, and I’m glad I gave it another shot. From the moment we sat down, the experience felt completely different. The service alone set the tone. Our waitress, Lauren, was on it the entire night. Friendly, attentive, and somehow perfectly timed without hovering. Drinks stayed filled, food came out smooth, and she made the whole table feel taken care of. To top it off, a manager named Edgar stopped by to check on us. Not a quick drive by “everything good?” but a genuine, professional check in. You could tell he actually cared about how things were going. That kind of leadership usually trickles down, and it definitely showed. Now let’s talk about the food. I ordered the ribeye, and it was absolutely dialed in. Perfectly cooked, seasoned just right, and packed with flavor.
